Poor Mira. She's either on her third consecutive ear infection, or more likely, her third antibiotic for the same ear infection. If this round of meds doesn't work we are going to have to see an ENT and audiologist.
But she's not letting a little pain stand in the way of playing outside, or trying to manage her siblings and peers. Her latest daycare antics involve forcefully taking away any book or toy being enjoyed by her nemesis, Mitchell, and then accompanying Mitchell to the daycare provider's side when he goes to rat Mira out. As soon as he begins to say, "Connie, Mirabelle took..." she quickly thrusts the disputed item back in his hands and smiles sweetly.
The girl loves being outside, and is not displaying any native Ethiopian aversion to our northern weather.
